We are so excited to start our year! Please join us for Parent Information Night on Thursday, August 11, 2022. Sessions in our room will be at 6:00 and 6:30. 

*If you'd like to donate anything to our class, please take some Post-It notes at Parent Information Night or see your teacher.

Don't forget to turn in your Box Tops for Education to your teacher. These funds help our school with a variety of activities

Please mark your calendars for the first day of school on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 to start second grade.

In preparation for school, the second grade teachers would like you to purchase a few items for your child. Please send these items on the first day of school:

*A backpack (NO wheels)

*A pair of scissors
*3 boxes of crayons - 24 count (not larger)
*3 black Sharpies – Fine Point

*10 “Elmer’s” glue sticks

*1 pack of #2 pencils

*2 reams white copy paper

*4 “Expo” dry erase regular black markers

*1-2 “Expo” dry erase fine point black markers
*1 box of Kleenex OR 1 container Lysol disinfecting wipes

*1 large hard plastic pencil box (at least 8"x5"x2.5")

*1 pad of Post It notes – any color

*headphones – NOT earbuds

*1-2 highlighters

(These can be purchased inexpensively by watching the sales this summer at Target, Wal-Mart, Office Max, Office Depot, and Staples.)
